Art of Perspective Painting Workshop | Tickets for August 9th

Tap into your personal perspective & learn about the subjectivity of art with Gate City, VA native, Kate Tipton! Create your own original art based on how you view the objects in front of you. This workshop will be more in-depth than a paint & sip, without the pressure of a graded course!

Kate is an Artist + Live Painter, traveling across the nation to paint live at weddings + events, or you can find her painting coastal inspired original pieces in her studio. With this workshop, she wanted to bring her love of art + supporting small business by incorporating other local businesses in her hometown, such as:

• Held at the recently opened venue, The Edison.
• Florals from 58 Flower Stop to be used in the still life inspiration.
• Coffee + pastries from Maple Tree Book Shop + Coffee House.
  
• Cinnamon rolls + treats from Orange Blossom Bakery & Creamery.
• Recommendations for other places to visit + shop in town after the workshop concludes!

WHEN: Saturday, August 9th, 2025
WHERE: The Edison - 115 W Jackson St, Suite 101, Gate City, VA 24251
Plenty of free parking is available in town.
TIME: 10:00am-12:00pm
Please arrive by 9:45am, as the workshop will begin promptly at 10:00am.

INFO:

• AGES 12+
• 1 ticket = 1 person
• All levels welcome, from beginners to professionals!
• Limited tickets available until August 3rd, 2025.
• $40 each before July 20th, 2025.
• $50 each between July 21st-August 3rd, 2025.
• Non-refundable after August 1st, 2025.
• Event will be held indoors & is within walking distance to other shops + dining!
